Brett and Rochelle’s Valentines Day Wedding

stunning couple

On Valentine’s Day (14.02.2015), it was my absolute pleasure to do the makeup for Rochelle’s romantic oceanside wedding. The new Esplanade on the Geraldton foreshore provided a beautiful backdrop for Rochelle and Brett’s ceremony. Blue bouquets and bridesmaids dresses complemented the ocean setting perfectly. As gorgeous as the happy couple were, their adorable kids almost stole the show cruising down the aisle in their custom motorised car – what an cute idea!

Rochelle had booked with me over a year in advance – so it was exciting to finally reach the big day and get to work. It was a relaxed morning at Rochelle’s mother’s home; probably the most relaxed bridal party I’ve ever seen! I did the makeup for the gorgeous bride, bridesmaids Chantelle and Taryn and Mother of the Bride (Mumbles). Rochelle’s perfect skin was a dream to work on; I immediately understood why she never wears makeup. She asked for a natural, glowing look, which was perfectly accompanied by her flawless golden tan from Katie Kingdon at GlamGLOW. For this makeup look I used natural products to complement the bride’s flawless skin, with the highlighter playing a key role in achieving that natural-looking bridal glow.  I received some lovely feedback from the happy bride after the event to say, “Thankyou soo much amy. Make up was beautiful all arvo and night noo touch ups. Such a pleasure having you do the makeup xx”

Geraldton’s notorious winds called for updos, which Sallyanne’s Mobile Hairdressing created beautifully. Jewell Photography did an exquisite job capturing the precious moments throughout the day. It looks like everyone is absolutely bursting with love, and the bride is positively radiant. The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed their reception at Tides of Geraldton.

Congratulations Brett and Rochelle!
